Beagle Channel Navigation – Catamaran
Activity description
We will depart from the Tourist Pier, sailing across Ushuaia Bay until reaching the Beagle Channel through Paso Chico. There, we will navigate around Birds Island, where you can appreciate the native Fuegian birdlife. Then, we will approach Lobos Island to observe South American sea lions and fur seals. Upon reaching Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse (“The Illuminators”), you will be able to see colonies of imperial and rock cormorants while hearing the story of the sinking of the SS Monte Cervantes, which occurred in 1930.
We provide maximum comfort and safety for our passengers with the newest and most modern fleet of catamarans, equipped with state-of-the-art navigation and propulsion systems that significantly enhance the experience. This allows for longer stays at key points of interest and shorter navigation times, while also optimizing fuel consumption by up to 30%, reducing polluting gas emissions.
