Discovering the Beagle Channel
Activity description
Discovering the Beagle Channel offers a unique experience in close contact with Fuegian nature. During the navigation, we visit Bird Island (Isla de los Pájaros), home to King and Imperial Cormorants, Gulls, Snowy Sheathbills, Steamer Ducks, and other native species.
We also explore Sea Lion Island (Isla de los Lobos), where you can observe colonies of One-Haired and Two-Haired Sea Lions up close—a classic postcard of the Channel.
The excursion includes a visit to Martillo Island, the most important penguin colony in our region, where you will walk among Magellanic and Gentoo penguins.
The entire journey takes place in a stunning natural setting, with views of forests, mountains, lakes, and the Beagle Channel. You will discover with us the beauty of the Beagle Channel and Route 3, a magnificent mountain road.
